Discovery Academy

A MESSAGE FROM THE CAPTAIN

Discovery Academy is located on the Norfolk Park Estate in Sheffield and opened in September 2022. Our Academy is overseen by the award-winning Nexus Multi Academy Trust, who already have fourteen special schools and a mainstream primary school across South Yorkshire and Nottinghamshire. Discovery Academy has 93 amazing students who are all part of a larger crew of 'Dreamers, Believers and Achievers. Our students all have a diagnosis of Autism and often see the world differently, it is our role to embrace their differences and help them on a journey to fulfilling their full potential as young adults. On behalf of our crew we all feel very privileged to be part of your child's journey and hope that our work together impacts beyond the school gate and positively into your family life. We are very much looking forward to showing you our school and becoming part of your child's journey together.
