Governance
The “management committee” for the school is comprised of the Chief Executive Officer, Assistant CEO - Quality Assurance & Improvement, and the school’s assigned Support & Challenge Partner. Through line management of the Exec Headteacher, data reporting and analysis, and qualitative visits to school, a triangulated assessment of the school’s progress is made at the Schools’ Performance Scrutiny Board, a subcommittee of the Trust Board’s Standards Committee. Minutes from this board, along with records of school visits, can be provided to the EE upon request. The Trust also commissioners an external auditor to review the school’s s.175 self-assessment, as well as routine reviews of the Single Central Record by HR. The Trust will be seeking to establish an Academy Council for the autumn term of 2023-24 which will consist of both Parent Governors and Community Governors.
